For some years now it has always been thought that we would outgrow the current site and need to move to another site.
This process actually begun in the late 1980′s when the parents of owner Sam Bosworth had planning permission to move the business to a new site. But ups and downs in the housing market and the continued growth of our Garden Centre on this site have meant that we have never had to actually do this.
The Bosworth family have been on the current site since 1959 and the business has grown and expanded over the years. It has now grown to a point where we are no longer able to expand further on the current site and with housing either side, this particular site is more suited to residential than to a Garden Centre business.
We can assure you that it is our intention to carry on with the business, our Garden Centre has been successful due to its excellent staff and loyal customers and we intend this to be the case for many years to come.
